4. Subscription & Billing

A. Monthly Platform Access

Platform access is billed monthly or annually based on your selected plan and active participant limits.

By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.

B. Annual Billing

Annual subscriptions are billed upfront and include promotional discounts (if applicable).

C. Participant Limits

Pricing is based on the number of active participants enrolled in your courses. Exceeding plan limits may require an upgrade.

5. Course Creation Fees

Course build packages and content services are one-time fees per course.

Payment for course creation services is due as outlined during checkout or agreement.

Additional courses may be purchased separately.

6. Refund Policy

Unless otherwise stated in writing:

• Monthly subscription fees are non-refundable once billed.

• Annual subscriptions are non-refundable after payment.

• Course creation services are non-refundable once work has begun.

We reserve the right to evaluate refund requests on a case-by-case basis.

7. Instructor Responsibilities

Instructors using the platform are solely responsible for:

• The accuracy and legality of course content

• Compliance with professional standards

• Operating within their scope of practice

• Ensuring their content does not infringe on third-party rights

We do not review or approve instructor content for accuracy.

8. Prohibited Uses

You may not:

• Upload unlawful, harmful, or misleading content

• Violate intellectual property rights

• Interfere with platform functionality

• Attempt unauthorized access to other accounts

• Use the platform for illegal activities

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

9. Intellectual Property

A. Platform Ownership

All platform technology, software, branding, and design elements are owned by MyDoulaCourse.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the platform.

B. Instructor Content

Instructors retain ownership of the content they create and upload.

By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to host, display, and deliver that content through the platform.

10. Technical Support

We provide technical support related to platform functionality.

We are not responsible for:

• Instructor business strategy

• Course marketing performance

• Student outcomes

Support does not include custom development beyond agreed services.

11. No Guarantees

We do not guarantee:

• Business growth

• Income generation

• Student enrollment numbers

• Platform uptime without interruption

Results depend on factors outside our control.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MyDoulaCourse shall not be liable for:

• Indirect or consequential damages

• Loss of income or profits

• Errors in course content

• Service interruptions

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 3 months preceding the claim.

13. Termination

You may cancel your subscription at any time.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Upon termination:

• Platform access may be revoked

• Content hosting may cease

• Outstanding balances remain due

14. Modifications to Services

We may update or modify platform features, pricing, or services at any time.

Users will be notified of material changes when appropriate.

15. Governing Law
